FAQs

Why are wedding flowers so expensive, especially from a flower farm? Aren’t you just using wildflowers or shouldn't "farm flowers" be cheaper?

While we do grow the majority of the flowers that we use in our designs, we still need to cover the cost of the flowers and include that in our pricing. We manage our farm organically so we don’t use any toxic pesticides or herbicides. Because of our practices our labor costs are hirer than most mega flower farms. In fact, it would probably be cheaper for us to buy-in all the flowers then grow them ourselves!

We focus on growing hard to ship, specialty cut flowers that require time, care and attention. We have invested a lot in developing our floral design skills and pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service. When you pay for your wedding flowers you are paying for all of these things.

What is the difference between small weddings/ a la carte and full service?

If you are just looking for personal flowers and simple centerpieces, etc. and don't desire a large amount of customization, a la carte is the perfect way to go. We itemize all items for you so that you can stay on budget. In most cases, all of the floral pieces will need to be picked up the afternoon before or the morning of your wedding. Sometimes delivery is available. Anything requiring installation - arbors, chuppahs, hanging installations, etc. or oversized arrangements are not provided within our Small Wedding services.

However if you're looking for a custom floral design plan that is full of unique and distinctive details, our full service option is the way to go. This can include installations such as arches, arbors and long, tablescapes or designs with on-site set up.

Why do you have a minimum amount that I have to spend on floral design?

Because we are a small studio, we only accept a limited number of weddings each weekend. This allows us to work more personally with each couple and provide the best experience possible. We love getting to know our couples and having the time to go the extra mile to make sure every detail is perfect.

How much should I expect to spend on my flowers?

All weddings are different and have custom proposals. The biggest price drivers are the number of guests, size of bridal party and if you want installations - arbors, hanging pieces, etc. Some sample pricing includes: Bridal bouquets: $150-$300, compote centerpieces - $90 - $195, ceremony arbors - $500 - $2000.

Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples?

Absolutely! We welcome all couples!

Kelly took our wedding vision and ran with it to create lush, pulled together bouquets, hanging installations, and a beautiful door arch. Her eye for design is amazing, and her locally grown flowers are just dreamy.
